Of course it is obvious that the EPL is becoming more competitive as Mancity have successfully closed the wide gap between them and Chelsea.
1. In terms of psychology of the game play, City are more driven by the fact that they are looking for something - to over take Chelsea. Whereas Chelsea's complacency may be a disadvantage to them.
2. In terms of Money to boost the quality of the team this January, Mancity are more endowed with that. Chelsea may be tempted by the euphoria of being on top and they will slip.
3. Tiredness and Fatigue. This is mostly referring to Diego Costa. Costa is the main say of Chelsea's Attacking hopes. But something seems to be happening. His attitude is gradually showcasing. Costa is getting more cards this days more that any other Chelsea player.
And that could cost Chelsea if not corrected on time.
4. Pride and Ego. Mourinho's pride and ego might end up being detrimental to Chelsea. Most EPL managers are following him with diplomacy. And most of them prefer beating mourinho before talking to the press. But the reverse is the case for the special one. Infact most english clubs are all dreaming to beat Mourinho. That is all!
5. Toughness of EPL. As the gap between Chelsea and Mancity have closed. The EPL is bound to be tough now especially by January when the title race proper will start.
6. Favouritism. This was given room to by Chelsea. If Chelsea had maintained the gap, I think there would not have been any room to for that for any team. Now the Gap is closed, any thing can happen. And that could go to City. But God forbid.
