The game is over at the ipro stadium. It is full time. Chelsea at last has fired themselves to the semi final stage of the carling cup. Shefield as well defeated Southampton 1-0 to book their place at the semi final of the capital one cup.

The game was opened by Eden Hazard's goal at the 23rd minutes of play. Filipe Luis completed it 2-0 to settle Chelsea's lead at the 56th minute. However Craig Bryson respond for the hosts at 71st minute raising tensions and fear among the Chelsea folks again. But the persevering host never wanted to give up until the collected a red card at the 78th minute courtesy of Jake Buxton and they were reduced to 10; giving Chelsea all the needed advantage to comfortably run them over. And it was so.
Andre Schurrle in his 82nd minute strike completed the score 1-3 and that was enough for the match.

Full time: Derby 1-3 Chelsea

Sheffield defeated Southampton by just a lone goal.

Full time: Sheffield United 1-0 Southampton

So Chelsea and Sheffield have booked their place in the semis as we wait for other fixtures:

03:45AFC Bournemouth? - ?Liverpool
03:45Tottenham Hotspur?- ?Newcastle United

So the winners in the above two fixtures will meet Chelsea and Shefield United at the Semi finals.

See you at the top!

At least we are sure of Carling cup. Say amen.
