Composed PSG Eliminates Complacent Chelsea in Stamford Bridge Drama!

I don't even know where to start describing the drama that took place at the Bridge this evening. Something that did not resemble anything later became something.

It all started with Zlatan Ibrahimovich red card at the middle of the first half; after an aggressive tackle on Fabregas and it looked like it was over for PSG.

The game continued and it ended 0-0 in the first 45 minutes. The second half of the game started. It continued with lots of feud and yellow-carding. Then at the 81st Minute, Gary Cahill broke the deadlock and gave Chelsea the much-needed advantage. It was chelsea 1-0 PSG.

Barely have Chelsea finished celebrating the goal, before the most expensive defender in the World came with a fantastic nodding from a set piece, and it was 1-1 at the 86 mins of the game. This was how the game finally entered into a matter of 120mins.

The first extra 15mins started, and Chelsea were the first to score, via a Penalty kick following a Thiago Silva foul in the Penalty box. Eden Hazard comfortably converted it.
It was 2-1.

Then the heart breaker came later on in the second half of the extra time. Just about 6 minutes to go. It was another corner kick, T Silva nodded and Courtois saved. It was another corner, but this time, it was pathetic, the same Silva powerfully converted it to a goal. And that was it (2-2). A Heart breaking loss for Chelsea.

Its 3-3 on aggregate, but PSG have more away goals than Chelsea. So they won Chelsea by away goals advantage.

That Was how it transpired today. Chelsea are out of the Champions league. And its time to face the much more favourite Premier league squarely.
